The Allianz Real Estate GmbH (»ARE«) Compliance Paralegal (m/f/d) is to support the ARE Global Chief Compliance Officer with all various compliance and administrative matters. This position will be based in Munich.
This position requires a professional who can flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, and professional environment with frequent shifts in priorities as business needs dictate.

The ARE Compliance Paralegal is responsible for compliance matters in relation to ARE’s real estate advisory, investment and management activities globally. The primary responsibilities include:
Support the ARE Compliance department in performing compliance activities, including:
Business partner due diligence in relation to business partners
Resolve routine compliance matters, e.g. gifts & entertainment
Implementing and monitoring information barriers, maintaining restricted lists
Review of marketing materials
Review and documentation of personal account dealing reports
Information Security, records and document retention

Assist in preparing departmental policies, procedures and manuals, budgets, charts and documents in support of the Compliance function
Perform administrative duties including maintaining an effective documentation and filing system
Support the ARE compliance trainings: Prepare Power Point presentations, maintain training calendars and follow-up participation

Professional Skills Requirements
Exceptional organizational skills; the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, follow up, produce consistently accurate work, and meet strict deadlines
Must take initiative in learning and applying new skills
Have a strong sense of integrity, behaving consistently with expressed values and ethical principles of ARE

Ideally, minimum of 5 years working experience in compliance or legal
Strong communication skills in German and English; Any additional language is an asset
